Everyone goes through tough times… But, it’s important to know that you don’t have to go through those tough times alone.
Icona Studios has 16 different contractors that we work with on a daily basis. They are the reason for our success. They are family to us. We know we could not do any of this without them.
Today, one of our contractors came into our office. She asked if we could assign the next few jobs directly to her. We told her that it wouldn’t be fair to the others because jobs are dispatched in order. She immediately began to break down into tears.
Last year, her husband lost his job due to health complications. He was the breadwinner of the family. She explained that since then, he has been unemployed. This family of four has been surviving on credit cards and the jobs she receives from Icona Studios.
As we watched the tears roll down her face, we ask her how bad things had become. She told us that after a year of trying to make it work, they are now $70,000 in debt and about to lose their home. We were SHOCKED! How could she not have told us sooner?
This is a very difficult time that we live in today. It seems like its every man for himself. But, it doesn’t have to be this way. She was afraid to ask for help because she didn’t want to bring embarrassment to her husband and children. Well, now we know,
and we intend to do whatever we can to help her and her family.
The last thing she wanted was to become a charity case and that’s not what we’re trying to do. We just want to help her the best way we know how. So, we have decided to promote this ad to people in our community in hopes of garnishing some support for this family. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do and if we were in her position we would want someone to do the same for us.

We have also spoken with one of our business partners who has agreed to hire our contractor’s husband as a work from home customer care rep. That is truly a blessing!!
